Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, The Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee is proud to present a Twilight Town tradition here in Starlight Cove... THE STRUGGLE! A city-wide single-elimination tournament designed to put local fighters and competitors head-to-head against one another for prizes, fame, and glory! The STRUGGLE will be held SATURDAY and SUNDAY, 9/1-9/2, at the end of COMMERCE LANE on the BEACH. All comers welcome, and all spectators encouraged! Come root for your friends and support all those who fight for THE STRUGGLE CUP! ------------------------------------- Rules: 1) Matches will be 1-on-1 only. 2) Each match will have 3-60 second rounds; the combatant who lands the most hits on his/her opponent at the end of the round wins that round, and who wins two of the three rounds wins the match. If there is a tie or no hits are landed, another round is given untitl a victor is evident. 3) The tournament is single elimination; one loss removes a combatant from the tournament. 4) Unsportsmanlike conduct will be grounds for expulsion and forfeiting of a round and the tournament. Don't be a jerk! 5) Struggle-safe weapons will be provided for use. ONLY Struggle-safe weapons will be allowed in the tournament! Ranged combatants are just as welcome, we have special guns and arrows that can be used to effectiveness. 6) Magic use is allowed; Merlin will be on-site to reduce lethality of it to safe levels. -------------------------------------- PRIZES: CHAMPION: The STRUGGLE CUP and a LARGE MUNNY REWARD to be announced OR a prize from a local shop to be announced! RUNNER-UP: A MODERATE MUNNY REWARD. BRONZE MEDAL: A SMALL MUNNY REWARD.
