Not for the faint of heart... challenge fiends old and new in heart-racing battles!
The Mirage Arena is a bulbous construct in The Grid, sphere-shaped with a single platform suspended in the middle, with crowds of digital viewers held in stadium seating all around. Here, digital representation of programmed enemies are battled for glory and prizes!
The Mirage Arena can also be programmed with situational battlegrounds for special challenges or for flavor! All it takes is a request to an Administrator.
The battles come in two flavors: Standard Challenges and Special Challenges. In a standard, low-stakes challenge, the players will do battle with normal enemies that can be selected or randomized. There are no penalties nor prizes for these... but try and make it to the High Score board! After all, the best thing about the Mirage Arena isn't beating the enemies -- it's showing everyone online you did!
In Special Challenges, players cooperate to win special prizes! But beware... these Challenges are leveled in difficulty by Battle Rating, which will enhance the strength of the opponents in order to continue offering challenge as time goes on.
Players can compete solo or in teams... but beware, it's easy to get overwhelmed!
Note: ANYONE can GM these battles for yourselves or for each other. These enemy sheets are different than standard enemies will be out in the real world, and are open to anyone to peruse!
