Name: Dodge Roll
AP Cost: 1
Description: A hasty jump, tuck, and roll away from an attack.
Effect: Grants a +5 to Defense rolls, and can be used against just about any kind of attack.
Learning: By Level (1) By Item (No) By Teacher (DC5)

Name: Guard
AP Cost: 1
Description: Allows a user to block an incoming melee attack with a weapon.
Effect: Grants a +5 to Defense rolls, and a 10% chance of stunning a target (preventing Defense rolls) for ONE TURN (not round) after the Guard. This can only be used against melee attacks.
Learning: By Level (1) By Item (No) By Teacher (5)

Name: Counterguard
AP Cost: 1
Description: Requires "Guard". In addition to potentially stunning a target, this ability allows the guarding character to take an attack of advantage on the target, whether or not the stun is successful.
Effect: After successful Guard, allows a 1-hit counterstrike. Only usable against melee attacks.
Learning: By Level (1) By Item (Yes) By Teacher (DC15)

Name: Dodge Slash
AP Cost: 2
Description: Requires "Dodge Roll". When an attack is avoided, this character can use the direction of the dodge to lunge at an opponent and strike as well.
Effect: On a successful dodge, allows for a 1-hit counterstrike. Can be used against any attack within 1 Area.
Learning: By Level (3) By Item (Yes) By Teacher (DC20)

Name: Aerial Recovery
AP Cost: 2
Description: When falling from the air (from a jump, a juggle, or a fall, etc.) allows a character to right itself rather than be forced into knockdown.
Effect: Reduces chance of knockdown from falls, jumps, or attacks that inflict it by 50%. (a 100% chance becomes 50, 50 becomes 25, etc.)
Learning: By Level (1) By Item (Yes) By Teacher (DC20)

Name: Defender
AP Cost: 1
Description: This ability raises a user's Defense when times are tough.
Effect: When under 25% HP, raises Defense by +3.
Learning: By Level (1) By Item (Yes) By Teacher (DC10)

Name: Dire Attack
AP Cost: 1
Description: Raises a user's accuracy when times are tough.
Effect: When under 25% HP, raises Strength by +3
Learning: By Level (1) By Item (Yes) By Teacher (DC10)

Name: Dire Cast
AP Cost: 1
Description: Raises a users magic accuracy when faced with defeat.
Effect: When under 25% HP, raises Magic by +3
